  • Route: The Run to Home Base is a unique fundraising 9K run or 5K run/walk through Boston, ending with the unforgettable experience of crossing “home base” at historic Fenway Park.

Fundraising Incentives

As a Run to Home Base participant, you can achieve awesome prizes and experiences while raising funds in support of our nation’s Veterans, Service Members, and their Families! Proceeds from the Run to Home Base are crucial to the support of Home Base services throughout the year.

In recognition of those participants who go above and beyond their fundraising requirements, we are offering the following incentives:

Each individual participant who raises $1,000 by 12:00pm EST on Friday, July 18th, 2025 will receive:

  • An exclusive swag item!

Each individual participant who raises $1,500 by 12:00pm EST on Friday, July 18th, 2025 will receive:

  • An exclusive swag item!
  • Your name on the Jumbotron at the event
  • Two (2) tickets to a 2025 Red Sox home game – Date TBD

Each individual participant who raises $2,500 (ALL-STAR!) by 12:00pm EST on Friday, July 18th, 2025 will receive:

  • Exclusive All-Star swag item – coming soon!
  • Your name on the Jumbotron at the event
  • Invitation for two (2) to the Post-Party on the Sam Deck
  • Two (2) tickets to the July 26th Red Sox vs. Dodgers game*
  • Invitation to the Pre-Race Party on Friday, July 25th at Hotel Commonwealth

NOTE: If you did not sign up as an All-Star fundraiser upon registering, but hit $2,500+ raised, you will qualify for these incentives.

Each individual participant who raises $5,000 (CHAMPION!) by 12:00pm EST on Friday, July 18th, 2025 will receive:

  • Exclusive Champion swag item – coming soon!
  • Your name on the Jumbotron at the event
  • Invitation for two (2) to the Post-Party on the Sam Deck
  • Two (2) tickets to the July 26th Red Sox vs. Dodgers game* 
  • Invitation to the Pre-Race Party on Friday, July 25th at Hotel Commonwealth
  • Invitation to 521 Pregame Reception on Saturday, July 26th*
  • Free registration fee for 2026

NOTE: If you did not sign up as a Champion fundraiser upon registering, but hit $5,000+ raised, you will qualify for these incentives.

 

The Top 25 Fundraisers by 12:00pm EST on Friday, July 18th, 2025 will receive the $5,000 Champion incentives PLUS:

  • Your name on the Jumbotron, recognized during the Opening Ceremony as a Top 25 Fundraiser
  • Recognition as a Top 25 Fundraiser on social media, via email to participants and in the digital program book
  • A special Gold Bib to wear on race day
  • On-Field Flag Drop participation, where you will help hold the American Flag over the Green Monster during the Pregame Ceremony on Saturday, July 26th*
  • A Home Base t-shirt to wear on the field for the Flag Drop
  • A tour of Home Base’s National Center of Excellence in Charlestown, MA

Top Two Corporate and Top Two Non-Corporate Fundraising Teams by 12:00pm EST on Friday, July 18th, 2025 will receive:

  • Recognition on social media, in an email to participants, and in the Run to Home Base digital program book
  • Special shout out during the pre-Run ceremony at Fenway Park
  • Opportunity for Red Sox Team photographer to take a Team photo at Fenway Park during the Run to Home Base
Checks and corporate matches must be received by noon on Friday, July 11th, 2025 in order to qualify for the above fundraising incentives.
